Situated in the brightest area of the lawn, it is designed with families in mind, featuring a basketball hoop and a spacious surrounding deck. For added safety, the pool is equipped with a sturdy cover meeting Michigan’s legal requirements as a fence, along with an extra fence to ensure peace of mind for families with young children. Guests can also unwind in the hot tub after a day of fun.

Explore Our Private Woodland
The house is nestled next to our lush, totally private, 32-acre protected woodland. There are a variety of hiking trails winding through the property, allowing visitors to experience the Galien River (which ends in Lake Michigan) and Johnson’s Creek, as well as the abundant wildlife. (We do not allow hunting!) The property is perfect for nature lovers seeking a tranquil escape, and who enjoy walks in the woods with their families. The woods are wonderful to experience all year– In spring, there is new growth and blossoming vegetation; summer is fabulously lush; in fall you’ll see the vibrant colors of the trees for which Michigan is famous; and winter brings a quiet, snowy serenity.
